唄を歌いながらやってきて、子どもたちの気をひきます。
蓬莱豆とは、いった（炒った）大豆を砂糖でくるんだものです。白と赤がありました。

The merchant would sing songs when visiting the coal mines to draw children’s attention to try and sell them bags of these beans.
